Chaunsa is a mango, they say.

Dear Readers,

Hope you're all well and happy and healthy.

A short post today. Sharing an extract from my e-book to drum up more interest. Even though it's free to download, it still requires reading.

So, here's a juicy piece to get you salivating for the book;)

Trust me, 4 minutes of your time is all it takes to savour the flavours of this chapter of my childhood memoir:

You can download the book here: And all the Seasons in between

Have a restful, beautiful Sunday.

Warmly,

Arti

  2. One of the benefits of moving to Hawaii was "free mangoes!" My favorite fruit. People would leaves bags of them at bus stops. But these days, not so free. Fewer trees. But I still love mangoes, and am still enjoying your book.

  3. Hi Arti, mangoes take my memories back to my childhood days in Kerala. We friends used to climb on mango trees, or pull the mangoes down with a hook attached to a long pole, or just throw a few stones to bring the fruit down.
I have downloaded book, and begun reading them as well. Memoirs are always interesting and they have a refreshing touch to them, probably because they are personal experiences.
I am glad you published the e-book: sort of having everything in one place.
Looking forward to more such ventures.
    Take care.

    1. Thank you for visiting Pradeep and for downloading the book:)

In fact, your mango memories are very similar to mine--you'll know when you reach that part.

Yes, I am happy I finally put it all in a book form instead of just dreaming about it. It was harder than I had thought but also fun. Plan to write a post about the process soon.

      Have a lovely day.
