You transported me to that mountain, the hut, to the company of the shepherds and the hazel eyed curious girl. I myself hanker for a life like that, often imagining myself in the mountains few years down the line. Will it be enough is hard to say. All I know is that I cannot get through this life without living that one!Sonia dograhttps://soniadogra.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2958886527937390919.post-43356724588185855592022-12-11T08:31:11.164+03:002022-12-11T08:31:11.164+03:00Some people do find peace and comfort in that life...Some people do find peace and comfort in that lifestyle. But yeah, the lack of easy access to medicine is a huge barrier and drawback for many. Plus, all the other modern conveniences (indoor plumbing, for example). What will be really interesting is if the next generation actually does want to be a shepherd instead of working in an office or something.

Dewey Decimal System Day is December 10. 📚
“The only limit to your success is your own imagination” – Shondra Rhimes
I most recently blogged about my upcoming book and launch party.
I wish you a merry holiday ⛄ season, and a New Year full of peace, joy, and creativity.J Lenni Dornerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07961335286982498158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2958886527937390919.post-49748996999733957182022-11-27T07:47:41.160+03:002022-11-27T07:47:41.160+03:00WOW!!! And you see one when life is just so simple and mundane. You seek it, see it, capture it in your heart and mind. And then you replicate it from your Creative eyes and present it for the world to experience. I love how you write. But more importantly, I love how you seek so Curiously! It's there! The story is always there. But there are just a few (like you) who actually see it. And live it! I'm so glad you felt transported:)

Kashmir's beauty and the experience of travelling through its valleys and mountains has left a deep and beautiful impression. I now understand why Amir Khusro called it heaven on Earth. It is indeed a privilege and a blessing to be able to see this 'heaven' and live in it --even temporarily.

Life has been kind and satisfying indeed:) I've been hibernating in caves of poetry and gardening duties--that's all.

I hope your health and spirits are in good shape. I have a lot of catching up to do in the blogging world.

Sending you warm hugs from Doha.
Artihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15455186909681790185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2958886527937390919.post-53855081199082315912022-11-23T17:02:15.806+03:002022-11-23T17:02:15.806+03:00Hari OM

To choose a simple and possibly harsh life is one thing - to be born to it and wonder what else there might be is another. Isn't it that we all, at some level, look to the other side of 'the fence' where we perceive the grass greener? To have the opportunities to travel in search of such pastures is privilege indeed.

Lovely to see a post from you! Hope life is being kind and satisfying for you.
